Frequently Asked Questions

A deeper look at our plant-based products, how to use them, and what to expect. For anything not covered here, contact us.

What makes St. Anky Flowers products different?

We design simple, effective formulas built on three pillars:

  • Whole-plant philosophy: we favor botanicals with traditional use and emerging research rather than trend mixes.
  • Transparent sourcing: growers and labs we know; short ingredient lists you can read.
  • Verification: hemp-derived items include third-party testing; every batch links to a COA on our Lab Results page.

Educational intent only. Nothing here is medical advice.

How do I pick the right format (tea, tincture, topical, capsule)?

Choose based on onset, duration, and habit fit:

  • Teas / Herbal Waters Gentle daily ritual. Onset: ~20–40 min. Duration: 2–4 hrs.
  • Tinctures Flexible serving; faster uptake sublingually. Onset: ~15–30 min. Duration: 3–6 hrs.
  • Capsules Pre-measured, travel-friendly. Onset: ~30–60 min. Duration: 4–6 hrs.
  • Topicals Localized application for skin/areas of use; minimal systemic effects.

Start low, go slow: begin with the smallest serving on the label for 3–5 days, then adjust by small increments.

How do I brew herbal teas for best results? Quick Guide
  • Water: just-off-boil (≈ 200°F / 93°C) for hardy roots/leaves; slightly cooler for delicate flowers.
  • Ratio: ~1 tbsp loose herbs (or 1 sachet) per 8–10 oz (240–300 ml) water.
  • Steep: 5–10 min (longer for stronger flavor). Cover your mug to keep volatiles.
  • Consistency: daily use supports benefits—think habits, not one-offs.

Adjust steep time to taste; strong steeps are more bitter but richer in compounds.

What are adaptogens and entheogens in plain language?

Adaptogens are botanicals used to support the body’s response to occasional stress and promote balance over time (e.g., ashwagandha, tulsi). Effects are generally subtle and build with consistent use.

Entheogens refers to tradition-rooted botanicals used ceremonially for insight or mood. Our products remain compliant; we do not sell controlled substances.

Always review our labels and your local regulations.

Are your hemp products compliant and how do I read a COA?

Hemp-derived items are intended to comply with federal limits (≤ 0.3% Δ9-THC by dry weight) and are third-party tested. On a COA (Certificate of Analysis):

  • Cannabinoid profile: verifies potency and confirms Δ9-THC is within limits.
  • Contaminants: look for “Pass” on pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, microbials.
  • Batch / lot match: the COA number should match the code on your product.

See our Lab Results page for batch-linked PDFs.

Safety, interactions, and who should avoid these products?
  • Age: not for persons under 21 where applicable.
  • Pregnant/nursing: consult a qualified clinician before use.
  • Medications: herbs can interact (e.g., sedatives, blood thinners, SSRIs). Discuss with your provider if you take prescriptions.
  • Allergies: read ingredient lists carefully; discontinue if irritation occurs.
  • Driving/operating tools: try new products at home first to understand your response.

Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. See our FDA Disclaimer.

Storage and freshness tips (and how to spot degradation)
  • Keep cool & dark: avoid heat and direct sun; reseal promptly.
  • Moisture control: store dry botanicals airtight; avoid fridge humidity unless label suggests.
  • Signs to replace: muted aroma, off flavors, clumping, or label best-by date passed.
